Resident Work Order
A core community service provided by the The Woodshop Supervisors’ Association is making repairs and completing other woodworking related projects for Rossmoor residents. The purpose of the Work Request is to organize and process these tasks.
Residents can request work be performed by Association supervisory volunteers by completing a Work Request. Residents do this by filling-in the information above the top dotted line on the control:
1. Resident's Name
2. Phone Number, and
3. Description of work to be performed.
Association volunteers in turn, complete the tasks at hand using the "Request Processing" section of the Work Request to guide and track a project to completion. They do so by entering the following:
4. Accepting Supervisors Name
5. Date the Work Request was opened
6. Donation Amount discussed with the Requesting Residents
7. Annotations made by volunteers as the project progresses to completion
8. The name of the volunteer in charge of the project.
Note: The Supervisor is responsible for completing the Work Request they accept or finding someone else to take charge of the project.
9. The date the Requesting Resident is notified by the volunteer doing the work that the project is complete and when it can be picked up.
After the requested work is completed, the request is closed out by the Requesting Resident and Wood Shop Supervisor completing the entries below the lower dotted line:
10. Requesting Resident signs-off Request completion
11. Wood Shop Supervisor enters the date the resident picked up the project
12. Wood Shop Supervisor enters his or her name
